La Antigua Lavandera acquires a new production plant in Barcelona
La Antigua Lavandera, one of the main Spanish companies manufacturing bleaches and other liquid cleaning and home care products, located in Alcalá de Guadaira (Seville) and owned since 2013 by PHI Industrial Acquisitions, has acquired a new plant located in St. Adrián del Besós (Barcelona) to the German multinational group Dalli, specialized in liquid detergent products. This plant was acquired, in turn, by Dalli from Henkel in 2010.
With the acquisition of this factory, La Antigua Lavandera will integrate 41 specialized Dalli workers, in addition to its manufacturing technologies, with fully integrated and automated processes, an R&D&i department that guarantees the highest quality of its products and the development of an increasingly wide range of products and formats (degreasers, glass cleaners, triggers…), thus making La Antigua Lavandera one of the leaders in the manufacture of liquid products for cleaning and home care in southern Europe , with the capacity to exceed three hundred thousand tons of annual production.
PHI Industrial Acquisitions, a venture capital company specialized in the operational restructuring of companies, does not rule out new acquisitions that could provide synergies in the growth of La Antigua Lavandera, as a reference group in Europe within the cleaning and home care category.
