ALEXANDER WIT
Managing Partner
Alexander founded PHI Industrial Acquisitions in Spain and has led PHI’s acquisitions and divestitures to date. He has extensive professional experience in operations, having founded several companies in the past and having been involved in change management at various organizations. Alexander began his professional career as a consultant at IVC, S.A. and Deloitte Madrid, before establishing his own company, Dooyoo AG, in 1999. Based in Berlin, Alexander served on the Board of Directors until 2006. In 2004, as CEO of an online travel company, Alexander was responsible for its growth and subsequent sale. Alexander earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Boston College and later an MBA from Harvard Business School.
JORDI BRICIO
Managing Partner
Jordi has over 20 years of experience in managing, developing, and growing companies in Europe. Prior to joining PHI Industrial, he served as Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director at several international industrial companies in Spain, Germany, and France. As a co-founder of PHI Industrial and head of Operations for PHI Industrial’s portfolio of companies, Jordi has led operational transformation and the creation of sustained value in Innovation, Sales & Marketing, Operations, and other areas across more than 25 companies in various sectors (industrial, retail, luxury, logistics, services, and others).
Jordi holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the UPC in Barcelona and an MBA from ESADE. He has continuously honed his management and innovation skills through various international forums and universities (Stanford University, Singularity University, etc.).

JAIME ECHÁNIZ
Partner
Jaime joined the M&A team at PHI Industrial Acquisitions in 2011, where he works on analyzing potential transactions, conducting due diligence, and managing negotiation processes. Previously, Jaime spent four years at Deloitte, working on the Private Equity Transaction Services (PETS) team in London and the Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team in Madrid, where he advised on M&A and debt refinancing projects. Jaime holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Deusto and completed an Executive MBA at IESE.

Ignacio joined the M&A team in June 2016, where he analyzes potential investments and divestitures. Prior to joining the firm, Ignacio worked for two years on the Corporate Finance team at EY, where he played an active role in M&A advisory projects as well as valuation and due diligence engagements. Ignacio holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Autonomous University of Madrid and has completed a Master in International Management (MIM) with a specialization in finance at the Instituto de Empresa.

Carlos joined the M&A team in October 2021, where he analyzes and executes potential investments and divestitures. Previously, Carlos worked for one year as a corporate finance analyst at Seabird Capital, advising companies across various sectors on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and valuation. Carlos holds a degree in economics from Carlos III University of Madrid.
BENEDIKT STEINHEUER

Benedikt joined the M&A team in July 2023, where he is responsible for sourcing, analyzing, and executing potential investments and divestitures. He began his professional career on the Deals team at PwC, advising companies across various sectors on mergers and acquisitions, financial due diligence, and restructuring. Following this, he joined McKinsey & Company, where he led Strategy, Corporate Finance, and Transformation projects for large multinationals, as well as Commercial Due Diligence projects for investment funds. Benedikt holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Münster and an MBA from INSEAD.
CARLOS SIMÓN GARCÍA DE ALCARAZ

Carlos joined PHI’s M&A team in 2017, where he works on analyzing potential transactions, conducting due diligence, and negotiating and executing buyouts. Prior to joining PHI, Carlos was part of the financial management team at Enagás’s international subsidiaries and worked in Deloitte’s Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) division. Carlos holds a degree in Business Administration and Management (E2) from ICADE and completed an Executive MBA at IE Business School and Brown University, where he graduated with honors.
ALEJANDRA FERNÁNDEZ MESA
Investment Analyst
Alejandra joined the M&A team in March 2025 and assists with managing the deal pipeline, analyzing potential transactions, conducting due diligence, and negotiating contracts. She began her professional career at Indra as an engineer before joining PwC Deals, where she advised companies across various sectors on M&A, financial due diligence, and valuations. Alejandra holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Carlos III University of Madrid and a master’s degree in finance from AFI.

Financial Director
Elena has worked in the finance departments of companies such as Repsol S.A. and Real Madrid Club de Fútbol. In 2004, Elena joined Deloitte’s S2G (General Management Services) team, serving clients such as Banco Santander, where she conducted financial audits and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance work, and Garrigues Sport & Entertainment, where she handled administrative functions for real estate, asset management, and arts-related companies. In July 2007, Elena joined PHI as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, where she also assists with financial due diligence processes. Elena holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Alfonso X el Sabio University and has an interdisciplinary master’s degree in Financial Management and an Executive Master’s in Finance from ESADE.
NOEMÍ BORREGO
Finance & Controlling
Noemí began her professional career at Deloitte, on the S2G (General Management Services) team, where she was assigned to clients such as Bankia and Laboratorios Farmacéuticos Rovi, working within their accounting departments to perform accounting tasks and provide audit support. In December 2011, Noemí joined PHI Industrial Acquisitions as an accountant, assisting the CFO with accounting, consolidation, and audit tasks. Noemí holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Extremadura.
SANDRA ALIENDE
Finance
Sandra joined the finance team in February 2020, performing accounting tasks and assisting the CFO with audits and financial reporting. Previously, Sandra worked for seven years in Prague for companies such as Honeywell and Newell Brands. At Newell Brands, she worked in the finance department as a senior general accountant. Sandra holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Zaragoza.
TANIA CUCICEA
Administration
Tania has over seven years of management experience, having worked for companies in various sectors, including the MasMóvil Group and a small-to-medium-sized enterprise (SME) that manufactures machinery. Before joining PHI, she provided support to various departments, including finance, procurement, and logistics.
Since joining PHI in October 2022, Tania has been responsible for various administrative tasks, including the management and filing of legal and accounting documentation, supplier relations, and support for the finance department. She is also involved in compliance activities, such as creating and updating policies and procedures and managing documentation related to anti-money laundering. In addition, she oversees the scheduling and annual follow-up of anti-money laundering training courses.

Emily has over six years of experience in recording and monitoring financial transactions. She joined PHI in January 2025 as part of the Finance team, where she provides support in accounting, tax, and administrative matters. Previously, she worked at SAERCO, a company in the aeronautics sector, where she specialized in assisting with daily accounting processes, ensuring the accuracy and proper organization of financial information. She holds a technical degree in International Trade and stays up to date by taking courses focused on finance and accounting.

ANDRÉS VILLEGAS
CEO at Bluesun Holdco
Andrés is an industrial engineer with over 15 years of experience in the Fabric Care and Home Care consumer goods sector. He holds a PDD from IESE, and his professional career has focused on operations with a strong commercial orientation. Notable highlights of his previous career include his time at Persan and La Antigua Lavandera, where he served as Director of Operations and worked with major retail chains such as Mercadona, DIA, IFA, Tesco, and ASDA, as well as providing contract manufacturing services for Henkel, Unilever, and P&G. He joined PHI Industrial Acquisitions in June 2015, taking on various responsibilities until reaching his current position as CEO of BlueSun.
FRANCESCO RUSSO
Vice-president of Operations
Francesco has 15 years of experience in management consulting, private equity, and general management. He began his professional career at Marconi Communications, where he held positions in marketing and finance. Following this, he joined McKinsey & Company, where he led strategy and operations for large multinational companies in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. In 2010, he joined JH Partners, overseeing two Italian investments: Frette and La Perla. He was part of La Perla’s management team, first as head of strategy and later as CEO. At La Perla, Francesco led several restructuring efforts, brand identity initiatives, and expansion projects. Following the sale of La Perla, Francesco joined PHI to lead its expansion in Italy. Francesco holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Pisa and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Ana has spent her professional career since 1993 in the field of consulting, and later in the restructuring and relaunching of business units, at companies such as ENDESA (energy), TYCO ELECTRONICS (industrial), SOLUZIONA (consulting and auditing), APPLUS (consulting and certification), and NEXGRUP (corporate health services). In 1999, Ana co-founded and led the technology services company AliterNet, S.L. for three years. Between 2001 and 2010, she served as Division Head at Applus and Business Unit Director at Nexgrup. Since then, Ana has specialized in analytical cost control and the optimization of management processes, both in industrial and service companies. Ana holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the UPC and an MBA from ESADE.
AGUSTÍN HÉCTOR DAZA

Agustín Daza holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and has over 20 years of professional experience. He is known for his expertise in developing new projects and launching companies across various industries, particularly in the insurance sector. His focus is on delivering services of the highest quality.
With a long and distinguished career, Agustín has led more than three companies in the industry, including an insurance brokerage in Argentina. He currently serves as CEO of HD+ Insurance Broker, a project focused on consolidating insurance brokerages in Spain and Portugal. His vision is to achieve significant growth nationwide and position the company among the top 15 Spanish firms.
MARIO LUCA PEZZOTTA

Luca has gained extensive experience in auditing, financial analysis, private equity, M&A transactions, and integration processes across multiple sectors in Italy and abroad.
With a practical, data-driven approach, Luca began his career in senior roles at EY and PwC in Italy and Luxembourg before specializing in restructuring and industrial transformation. From 2013 to 2016, he served as CFO of Puccioni, where he oversaw the financial restructuring and reorganization of the entire Group. He participated in the turnaround process, which was based on a strategy of financial restructuring, strong change management, and operational improvement.
In 2016, Luca was hired by PHI Industrial to support Mascioni’s turnaround project. Initially serving as CFO, his exceptional performance led to his promotion to CEO in 2020. In a short time, Luca has demonstrated strong leadership, spearheading Mascioni’s transformation strategy.
Luca holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Bologna (Italy) and has continuously developed his management and innovation skills at various international universities, including the Quantic MBA, the LSE MBA Essentials, and the TAG Digital Transformation MBA.
MIKEL URAIN
CEO at Teknicalde
Mikel has over 20 years of experience in transforming industrial organizations. In his roles as CEO and CCO, he has led the growth and international expansion of OEM manufacturers, as well as restructuring efforts and generational transitions in the chemical, electronics subcontracting, and metalworking sectors. As an M&A consultant, he executed the largest merger in the logistics sector to date in Spain and Portugal.
He holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Deusto and the Fachhochschule Wiesbaden. He also has a postgraduate degree in Financial Management and a Master’s in Strategy. He serves as a guest speaker and adjunct professor for the MBA programs at Deusto Business School.

Alejandro has over 20 years of international experience in engineering, general management, and operations, gained primarily in Europe and Latin America. He has held executive and leadership positions in complex industrial environments, combining a solid technical foundation with a strong focus on strategy and growth.
Throughout his career, he has led projects focused on transformation, international expansion, operational improvement, and M&A, both in executive roles and on the investor side. Alejandro has built his career in Switzerland, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Spain, working for multinational companies such as Medtronic and Schneider Electric, as well as launching his own startup in the field of predictive analytics.
Alejandro holds a degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Tec de Monterrey (Mexico) and an MBA from IMD (Switzerland).
ALBERT JORDI GÓMEZ

Albert has over 25 years of national and international experience in general management, corporate finance, and business transformation. He is currently the CEO of Compañía del Trópico, where he leads the company’s growth strategy, operational excellence, and business transformation initiatives.
Throughout his career, he has held senior executive positions at Laboratorios Ordesa and multinational groups such as Ciba, GenCorp, and BFGoodrich. Notably, he spent more than 15 years at Ordesa, where he led various corporate functions, transformation projects, international operations, and M&A and business integration processes.
He holds a degree from the University of Barcelona and has completed the PDD programme at IESE Business School. As a member of ROAC, he combines a strong financial background with extensive experience in strategy, operations, and business growth.

ALVARO JIMÉNEZ-ASENJO
Task Force, Marketing and Sales
Álvaro has spent his professional career in marketing and sales. He holds a degree in industrial engineering and a master’s degree in industrial business management. From 1999 to 2007, Álvaro worked as a key account manager at Bossard, a Swiss multinational group. In 2007, Álvaro joined the chemical company Panreac as commercial director, overseeing sales, marketing, and innovation management. He has also worked in various sectors, including streetlight maintenance, gas distribution, and the manufacture of plastic injection molding equipment. Since October 2012, Álvaro has been part of the Task Force team at PHI Industrial Acquisitions, leading projects in the areas of sales and marketing.

Carles holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration and has always worked in the field of finance. From 1995 to 1999, he served as head of treasury at Tepsa, a Franco-American joint venture specializing in the storage of bulk chemical products. In 1999, he joined Telstar as a controller and contributed to its growth by establishing subsidiaries in various countries. In 2007, he became the group’s director of corporate resources, overseeing finance, controlling, legal, IT, HR, and acquisitions across 18 countries. In 2014, he joined PHI. Carles holds an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid.

Manuel has over 20 years of experience in IT and business process redesign, during which he has designed solutions and led projects for leading industry players across multiple sectors. With a degree in Industrial Engineering from the UPM and an Executive MBA from IE, Manuel has built his professional career at major multinational consulting and systems integration firms, such as AT&T, Deloitte Consulting, KPMG Consulting, and Unisys, holding various leadership roles including IT Strategy Manager, Head of Supply Chain Management, and Director of Security Services and Solutions.
