ALEXANDER WIT
Managing Partner
Alexander started PHI Industrial Acquisitions’ operations and so far, he has led PHI´s acquisitions and divestments. His background is operational, having started various companies in the past, and has been involved in managing change at various organisations. Alex launched his career working as a consultant for IVC, S.A. and Deloitte Consulting in Madrid, before establishing his own company, Dooyoo AG, in 1999. Headquartered in Berlin, Alexander served as a Board Member until 2006. In 2004, as CEO of an online travel company, he was responsible for growing and eventually selling the company. He obtained a Bachelor in Business Administration from Boston College, and obtained an MBA at Harvard Business School.
JORDI BRICIO
Managing Partner
Jordi has more than 20 years of experience in management, development and growth of companies in Europe. He worked as Director of Operations and General Manager in several industrial companies of international scope in Spain, Germany and France, before working at PHI Industrial. As co-founder of PHI Industrial and head of the Operational Management of the PHI Industrial portfolio companies, Jordi has led the operational change and the creation of sustained value in Innovation, Sales & Marketing, Operations… of more than 25 companies in different sectors (industrial, retail, luxury, logistics, services…).
Jordi is an Industrial Engineer from UPC University in Barcelona and has an MBA from ESADE. He has continuously developing his management and innovation skills in various forums and international universities (Stanford University, Singularity University…).

JAIME ECHÁNIZ
Director M&A
Jaime joined PHI Industrial Acquisitions’ M&A team in 2011, where he works on the analysis of potential transactions, due diligence and negotiation processes. Previously, Jaime worked for a period of 4 years at Deloitte, in the Private Equity Transaction Services (PETS) team in London and Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) in Madrid, working in both cases on M&A advisory projects and debt refinancing. Jaime holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Universidad Comercial de Deusto and an Executive MBA from IESE.
IGNACIO HORMAECHEA
Director M&A
Ignacio joined PHI’s M&A team in June, 2016 and is involved in the analysis of both potential acquisition and divestments. Prior to PHI, Ignacio worked within the Coporate Finance division at EY, where he was involved in the advice of Mergers and Acquisitions and the Valuation of companies. Ignacio holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University Autonoma of Madrid and a Master in International Management (MIM) at the IE Business School.
CARLOS MORA-FIGUEROA

Carlos joined the M&A team in October 2021 where he analyses and executes potential investments and divestments. Previously, Carlos worked for 1 year as a Corporate Finance analyst at Seabird Capital, advising companies from different sectors in M&A, Capital Markets and Valuation processes. Carlos holds a bachelor degree in Economics from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
BENEDIKT STEINHEUER
Investment Associate M&A
Benedikt joined PHI’s M&A team in July 2023 and is involved in the sourcing, analysis and executions of potential investments and divestments. He started his career at PwC Deals where he advised companies from different sectors in M&A, Financial Due Diligence, and Restructuring. He then joined McKinsey & Company where he led Strategy, Corporate Finance and Transformation projects for multinational corporations as well as Commercial Due Diligence projects for Private Equity funds. Benedikt holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of Muenster and an MBA degree from INSEAD.
CARLOS SIMÓN GARCÍA DE ALCARAZ

Carlos joined PHI’s M&A team in 2017, where he works on the analysis of potential acquisitions, due diligence processes, as well as the negotiation and execution of transactions. Prior to joining PHI, Carlos was part of the financial management team for international subsidiaries at Enagás and worked in the Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) department at Deloitte. Carlos holds a Bachelor in Business Administration (E2) from ICADE and completed an Executive MBA at IE Business School and Brown University, graduating with honors.

ELENA MIALDEA
Financial Director
Elena has worked in the financial department of companies like, Repsol, S.A. and Real Madrid, CF. In 2004 she became part of the S2G Team – Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu managing clients such as Banco de Santander for which she was involved in financial auditing, and in SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) and Garrigues Sport & Entertainment where she developed functions in business administration of property, real –estate and artistic holdings. In July 2007 she joined PHI Industrial Acquisitions as Financial Director for the holding in Spain where she also participates in financial due diligence processes. Elena has a degree in Business Administration granted by Alfonso X el Sabio University and a Masters degree in encyclopedic Financial Management. Elena has also a Masters degree in Executive Finance granted by ESADE.
NOEMÍ BORREGO
Finance & Controlling
Noemí Borrego Bernal started her career at Deloitte in the S2G Team (General management services) in February 2011, working with clients such as Bankia, where she carried out auditing tasks, or Rovi Labotatories, where she developed accounting functions. In December 2011, she joined PHI Industrial Acquisitions as an accountant, supporting the Financial Director in accounting, consolidation and auditing tasks. Noemí has a Business degree from Extremadura University.
SANDRA ALIENDE
Finance
Sandra Aliende Corral joined the finance team in February 2020, performing accounting tasks and supporting the CFO in financial audits and reporting. Previously, Sandra worked for 7 years in Prague for companies such as Honeywell and Newell Brands. In the latter she worked in the financial department as a Senior General Accountant. Sandra holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Zaragoza.
TANIA CUCICEA
Administration
Tania has over seven years of management experience, having worked for companies in a range of sectors, including the MasMóvil Group and an SME machinery manufacturer. Prior to joining PHI, she supported a number of departments, including finance, purchasing and logistics.
Since joining PHI in October 2022, Tania has assumed responsibility for a range of administrative tasks, including the management and filing of legal and accounting documentation, supplier relations and support to the finance department. Furthermore, she is involved in compliance activities, including the drafting and revision of policies and procedures, as well as the management of documentation pertaining to the prevention of money laundering. Additionally, she oversees the procurement and annual monitoring of anti-money laundering training courses.
In addition to her professional responsibilities, she is currently pursuing a degree in Law at the Complutense University of Madrid.

AUGUSTO MÉNDEZ DE LUGO
CEO at Compañía del Trópico
Augusto has developed his entire professional career linked to Catering and Franchising. He started as a Lawyer at VIPS Restaurant Group to later join the multinational Burger King where for 11 years he held various positions of responsibility in Operations, Franchises and Business Development. In 2015 hand in hand with NAZCA CAPITAL he founded the Foodbox Company, dedicated to the operation and marketing of catering companies to subsequently sell the same in 2022. Since December 2023, he has been Managing Director of Compañía del Trópico.
He holds a degree in Law from the University of Granada. He has completed doctoral studies at the University of Bristol (UK) and has a Master’s Degree in Legal Advice (LLM) from IE.
ANDRÉS VILLEGAS
CEO at Bluesun Consumer Brands
Andrés is an Industrial Engineer with more than 15 years of experience in the FMCG Fabric Care and Home Care sector. He has completed a PDD at IESE and his professional career has been developed in the Operations area with a strong Commercial orientation. His previous stages in Persan and La Antigua Lavandera, as Operations Director and serving important FMCG chains such as Mercadona, DIA, IFA, Tesco, ASDA and as Contract Manufacturing for Henkel, Unilever and P&G stand out. He joined PHI Industrial Acquisitions in June 2015 assuming different responsibilities until reaching his current position as CEO of BlueSun.
FRANCESCO RUSSO
Vice-president of Operations
Francesco has 15 years of experience in management consulting, PE and general management. Francesco began his career in Marconi Communications, where he had marketing and finance roles. He then joined McKinsey & Company, where he led strategy and operational assignments for large multinational companies in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
In 2010 he joined JH Partners to help supervise the 2 Italian investments Frette and La Perla. He joined the management team of La Perla, first as head of strategy and finally as general manager. In La Perla, he led a variety of restructuring, brand identity and expansion initiatives. After the sale of La Perla Francesco joined PHI Industrial Acquisition to lead the fund’s business development in Italy.
Francesco obtained a Bachelor in Business Administration from Pisa University, and has an MBA degree from Harvard Business School.
ANA RODRÍGUEZ
CEO at Lladró
Ana has developed her professional career since 1993 in the field of consulting, and subsequently restructuring and relaunching business units, in companies such as ENDESA (energy), TYCO ELECTRONICS (industrial), SOLUZIONA (consulting and auditing), APPLUS (consulting and certification) and NEXGRUP (health services to companies). Ana co-founded in 1999 and managed for 3 years the technological services company AliterNet, S.L. Between 2001 and 2010, she has been Division Manager at Applus, and Business Unit Manager at Nexgrup. Since then, Ana has specialized in analytical cost control and optimization of management processes, both in industrial and service companies. Ana holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from UPC and an MBA from ESADE.
AGUSTÍN HÉCTOR DAZA

Agustín Daza has a degree in Business Administration and a professional trajectory of over 20 years. He is known for his expertise in the development of new projects and the creation of companies in various industries, especially in the insurance sector. His focus is on providing services of excellence.
With an extensive background, Agustín has managed more than 3 companies in the sector, including an insurance broker in Argentina. Currently, he serves as CEO of HD+ Insurance Broker, a project associated with the consolidation of insurance brokerages in Spain and Portugal. His vision is to achieve high growth at national level and position the company among the top 15 Spanish companies.
MARIO LUCA PEZZOTTA
CEO at Mascioni
Luca has accumulated an extensive experience in audit, financial analysis, PE, M&A transactions and integration process in multiple sectors in Italy and abroad.
With a data driven and hands-on approach, Luca launched his career working in senior roles for EY and PwC in Italy and Luxembourg before starting his specialization in restructuring and industrial turnaround process. In 2013-2016 he was CFO of Puccioni and he was in charge of the financial restructuring and reorganization of the entire Group. He was involved in the turnaround process based on a strategy of financial restructuring, strong change management and operational improvement.
In 2016, Luca was recruited by PHI Industrial to support the turnaround project for Mascioni. Initially as CFO, his exceptional performance led to his promotion to CEO in 2020. In a short time, Luca has demonstrated strong leadership, spearheading Mascioni’s turnaround strategy.
Luca has a degree in Economics and Business Administration from University of Bologna in Italy, and he has continuously developing his management and innovation skills in various international universities such as MBA from Quantic, MBA Essentials from LSE and Digital Transformation from TAG.
MIKEL URAIN
CEO at Teknicalde
Mikel has over 20 years of experience in transforming industrial organizations. In CEO and CCO positions, he has led the growth and international expansion of OEM manufacturers, restructurings, and generational transitions in the chemical sector, as well as in electronics and metal subcontracting. As an M&A consultant, he executed the largest merger in the logistics sector to date in Spain and Portugal.
He holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Deusto and the Fachhochschule Wiesbaden, as well as a postgraduate degree in Financial Management and a Master’s in Strategy. He collaborates as a speaker and external professor in the MBA programs at Deusto Business School.
LLUÍS-MARÍA MUNNÉ
CEO at Panalia
Lluís-María began his professional career in 1992 as a consultant in financial audits. In 1995, he joined the chemical industrial group Pymag-Curtin, S.A., holding various roles in operations. From 2004 to 2008, he led the restructuring of the group’s parent company, including its merger with the main subsidiary. In 2008, he joined the Inversud Group (real estate and hospitality sector in South America), managing projects in Peru. In 2010, he returned to the metallurgical industrial sector as a controller at Isofix, S.L., and contributed to the restructuring of Covit, S.L. with PHI Industrial Acquisitions. He was CEO of Covit, S.L. until August 2020. Between November 2020 and August 2021, he served as CEO of Adisa. From March 2022 to August 2024, he led the Wunsiedel plant in the ITG project. In November 2024, he began a new chapter as CEO at Panalia.
Lluís-María holds a degree in Economics from the University of Barcelona and is a certified auditor.

ALVARO JIMÉNEZ-ASENJO
Task Force, Marketing and Sales
Álvaro has developed his career in the area of marketing and sales. He is an industrial engineer and obtained a Master in industrial business management. From 1999 until 2007 Álvaro worked as a key account manager at Bossard, a Swiss multinational group. In 2007 Álvaro joined the chemical company Panreac as commercial director, including sales, marketing and innovation management. He has also worked in different sectors such as public illumination maintenance, gas distribution and manufacturing of plastic injection equipment. Since October 2012 Alvaro is part of the Task Force team of PHI Industrial Acquisitions leading projects in the areas of sales and marketing.

Carles is a professional of the finance area with a degree in Economics and Business Administration. In 1995-1999 he was cash supervisor at Tepsa logistics, a US-French joint venture of bulk storage of liquids. In 1999 he joined Telstar as controller and contributed to its growth by establishing new subsidiaries overseas. In 2007 he became corporate resources director in Telstar group in charge of finance, controlling, IT, legal, HR and M&A activities with global responsibility over 18 countries. He joined PHI in 2014. Carles is MBA by Instituto de Empresa, Madrid.

Manuel has over 20 years of experience in IT and business processes reengineering, designing solutions and leading projects for key industry leaders in multiple sectors. Industrial Engineer and Executive MBA, Manuel has developed his career in Consulting and System Integration firms like AT&T, Deloitte Consulting, KPMG Consulting and Unisys, serving in different leadership positions as IT Strategy Manager, Supply Chain Management practice leader and Director of Security Services and Solutions.

“Edgar has developed his professional career in the automotive sector, with over 15 years of experience in Industrial Operations Management. He is an expert in the organisation and strategy of operations in management roles in multinational companies in different sectors such as Lighting, Electrical, and FMCG. He has developed projects of creating, transferring, and restructuring factories at an international level. He started his professional career in the United States for a Spanish Tier 1 automotive multinational. He holds an Industrial Engineering degree from ETSEIB and an MBA from Hult Ashridge Business School in the UK.
